Max Payne

Not sure if anybody ever played the Max Payne games (on the PC they were brilliant), but here is the (not great) trailer for the new film:

Birthday plans

I'm planning on going to the Old Joint Stock in town on Friday. If other people are able to make it I was thinking of getting there about 8 or so.

How old was the youngest ever mother... what's your guess?

In googling for pregnancy websites (there are loads - who would have thought so many people would be having babies?) I found a link to the wikipedia entry for the youngest ever mother. She really was quite young.... How old?

Psst...

Great news for nostalgic confectionary fans- Cadbury's is bringing back the Wispa. According to the BBC "It had bowed to public pressure after a popular campaign on the Facebook and MySpace websites." Nice to see that all those shitty campaigns and petitions online achieve such dramatic results. Let's hope China "frees Tibet" soon and that Columbia remounces torture.

I was never a fan of the humble Wispa... its texture always seemed a little clammy and the chocolate tasted cheap. My favourite chocolate bar? I think its hard to beat a Topic... what's yours?

Chimp wrecks up man big style

I like the bit where the narrator merrily describes how the chimp "mauled his face" and "tore of his ear"... Eat that chimp-lover!

Batman: The Dark Knight

Went to see the Dark Knight today - my favourite cinema film this year. Great on every level (except Batman does whisper a little too much) and worth seeing on the big screen. Colin is pretending he didn't like it in some elaborate ruse to stop every seeing the movie of the year!

lovely interface

This is a lovely way to search the internet..

When I was writing my essay the other weekend I searched the videos for musical artists I liked and just played them - the great thing about the video search is that it automatically plays and then moves on to the next one when finished. Lovely.

BBC Iplayer

I really like the BBC Iplayer... especially that the volume goes up to 11!
