You should go quit and go contracting for a while, work for 6 months and spend 6 months training as a stuntman or a clown in a circus, whatever you fancy, there are benefits...
More money
Work as often or as you like
Get exposure to more ways of working and technology
No office politics, you don't like them, you leave - they don't like you, you leave. Nice and simple arrangement
You can tell people exactly what you think 'cos who cares if they sack you you can just go and work somewhere else
Of course there are disadvantages as well, no subsidised training or courses, the only job security you have is your ability to get new contracts, no paid holidays or sick time, you really have to be there where and when you are contracted to be unless you don't want to be in which case thats fine but you don't get paid, you can end up working a fair way from where you live. Personally I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages so if I was you I'd at least look at some contract work to see what you get paid for it and then thats an option you can use to give your current employers the great big finger.

CLUB inhabit a city in Middle England called Birmingham, their mission is to find amusing, diverting and character building activities with which to while away the time left before the last remaining member is dead. Joining CLUB is easy, leaving is - under some circumstances - even easier.
