Everyone is tripping on the hard dub skip wagon nowadays, daddio. It's the anithesis of all that euphoric chocolate cottage coming down from South America, more of an action than a reaction, more of a mood than a feeling but definitely radical, especially around the corners. I don't know what Mazzy Star has to do with Steel Da Jools, unless she is the silly bint who orginally came and shattered his window, on that lonely Yorkshire moor, and implored him to develop his style and honour her with the abomination that was strip hop. Luckily he quite rightly cast that aside and and has since become one of the foremost innovators on the scene.
