I really like the BBC Iplayer... especially that the volume goes up to 11!

IT shite

I just tried to use it (to catch up on the Jeremy Kyle Show which I had foolishly missed) but I need to download something called Silverlight...bugger that. Back to Iplayer.

Have you seen that Microsoft Coffee Table thing powered by Silverlight. That's pretty cool.

OK to play

But don't think they're really very practical. There's been lots of those sort of things for years and none of them have really taken off. Like the Microsoft tablet pc, an overpriced white elephant. Apparently their amazing surface technology will be in the next release of Windows next year but then they often make all sorts of claims as to what will be in their next versions of Windows and end up dropping most of it because it's too complicated.
