Well, the beer is now at the same price or a little more than UK prices.

But on the downside I am unable to transfer my money out of Iceland to the UK.

It would appear that I now have approaching 2 grand in Mickey Mouse money that is becoming increasingly difficult to change. Stupid financial situation.

about 3 pound fifty.

A friend left today, he went round the banks with about 750quid in Krona, managed to get 200 quid, the rest is still in Krona.

Why didn´t the little girl get any pocket money?

Because her mum went to Iceland.

The weather has been ok however, unusually sunny and dry. But that is set to end next week with blizzards and -6 approaching. Even the farmer has had enough, he is buggering off to Turin next week.
I hope he leaves the keys to his car...

I hadn't realised things were that fucked in Iceland, how long can you live on potatoes for before you have to change your money ? I suggest you steal the farmers car, fill it full of potatoes and hightail it to ireland where you can sell at vast profit.

Potatoes

I guess it's a relief to know that whatever happens there will always be the potatoes. I don't understand how anything can possibly go wrong with a bank with as cool a name as the landisbanky, but it seems it has. Gordon Brown talks of stern measures to be taken against the icelandic foe, this can only mean war. I should think we'll be invading within the week so it won't be long before the beer prices are exactly the same as the British ones.
