Grants Stag Do
Grant is proposing to have his stag do on Saturday 10th April (the two back up dates are the 13th March and 27th March). At present it is likely to be:
Clay pigeon shooting – (I think he might be copying someone here)
Off Road Carting – (maybe not)
Jongleurs Comedy Club Broad Street (yep, he is copying)
And then Hotel on Broad Street for those that wish to stop
Prices
Clay Pigeon Shooting £42.50pp for 25 shots
Off Road Carting £42.50pp for 1hr session
Jongleurs £26pp although they told me a new pricing structure will shortly be announced
Hotel – best deal I have found is Jury’s Inn, based on 12 people, 3 people a room, £90 a room, £30pp
Therefore grand total around £140
So, who wants to see Grant get stupidly drunk again?

Damn Work
I think I've been at work for over 12 hours every day this week so far, 2:30AM is a bit extreme though !
I just got an e-mail off our increasingly hard to find project manager - I don't think anyones actually seen him in person for several weeks now. It said that we need to get everything finished and tested before the 12th April at whatever the cost. He had written "whatever the cost" in capitals like this "WHATEVER THE COST" and made it bold, like this "WHATEVER THE COST" and repeated it several times in a 3 paragraph e-mail.
I think it's very easy being a manager, you just tell everyone above you that everything's fine and then do nothing except make sure you never actually meet or talk with anyone in your team, send them pointless demotivational e-mails and pray that everything turns out OK. It sounds quite easy and I'm sure nothing could ever go wrong.
Anyway I'm quite sure the system will work perfectly just so long as there are no users, I think I now have the go ahead to do something about that. Whatever the cost.

kicked out a text two weeks
kicked out a text two weeks back given it was unclear whether everyone was picking up this string. Country Girl at 7pm, the Comedy club starts at 10pm, doors open between 9:15 - 9:45, so get to town as we feel fit. Grant is getting to Joe's earlier, so heading to the Girl for food BEFORE 7pm, Paul and Rich C might also be going for food (willtext both when I meet up with Grant to confirm) let me know (text) if you fancy it

No it was a good night, I got to have a ride in Police car.

I was sat on the flower bed thing feeling a little worse for wear waiting for Grant and Joe to come out of Snobs when some lad sat next to me and starting saying something, then the next thing I've been pushed over and someone is shouting stop fucking struggling you'll only make it worse for yourself and there's about four people around me rifling through my pockets and another couple standing around them.
They took my wallet, keys and phone and ran off. They didn't get any money and the cards are useless to them
In a bit of pissed daze I found Joe and told him what happened who phoned the Police. I wouldn't have bothered if it hadn't been that my phone has direct access to the force control room.
The Police turned up and drove me around to see if I could see the perpertrators but to be honest I wouldn't have recognised them anyway it all happened so quick and I was so sozzled.
I then went to Steelhouse Lane and made a statement. Didn't get home until about seven this morning at which point I realised that they had my keys so I had to walk up to me Mom and Dad's to get my spare set, which was a right arse.
It was a good night, just an annoying (but not uninteresting) ending. Easy target I was.
Flower Beds
I was sat on the flower beds at various points when I was getting pissed off with Grant not wanting to go home and just repeatedly repeating "Drink, Drink, Drink" and gesticulating at the bar and some ginger lad asked to borrow my phone. I doubt it was the same person, he didn't seem like a criminal but you never know.
I didn't realise it was right outside snobs, there must be dozens of CCTVs trained on that area.
Grant resurfaced this afternoon and came round to get his stuff and have a cup of tea, he looked a mess. Apparently he'd been turned away from every hotel on Broad Street and ended up in The Mal Masion at the mailbox around 5AM who charged him £140 for a room which they then kicked him out at midday. He still couldn't explain why he was so determined to go to a hotel rather than coming back and staying at my house for free or why he didn't just give up and come round having been refused at the first dozen hotels. I don't think my coffee can possibly be all that bad. Now he has to try and explain to Donna Too why he spent £140 on a hotel room when he already had somewhere to stay for free and how that didn't involve any other women, hookers, or anything too suspect. Good luck with that !

I think, considering the safe course that was laid out last night it's quite impressive that the Stag appears to have landed himself in so much trouble. It just goes to show that sometimes perhaps stripping people naked and tying them to lamp posts is actually the kindest option.

struggling to fing the clay pigeon shooting cheaper, best one is £37.50 over at the Warwick shooting centre, but this is for 20 shots, also the origninal one is 10% off in we do it in the March dates, therefore £38.25
Off road carting has the same 10% if done in the March date, therefore 38.25 again
the other places i have looked appear to be more expensive
Jongleurs, which is now highlights, now comes in at £18pp (1.50 deposit when booking)
This includes the food, the table dressing, and a stella
The above will most likely be run in that order, so join/leave at the activities that best suit you
So maximum price for the whole day should be 94.50 for March or 103 for April, which would be shooting, driving, eating, a drink, laughing and then a nite-club
I am open to suggestions, Grant does not want Paintballing, i know that activity does work out cheaper, e.g. a whole day including lunch and 500 shoots for £35 ... actually that is damn good value ...

The Comedy
Don't get us wrong - the place is great whilst the comedy is on it's just it turns into a we've got six knuckles and nine toes and know how to use them type place once that's finished. You know just like everywhere in Sutton. ;)
