My wi fi journey

I planned to spend today in Central library writing my essay - but they didn't have wi-fi access!! Can you believe it? With all the money that has been spend on the so-called "wi-fi cloud" that is supposed to transport Birmingham into a European city of excellence in terms of Internet Access???

Goodbye Australia

Goodbye Australia

It was a great holiday but within 10 hours of this photo being taken we were in a mad dash to to the airport to return to the snow, rain of wind of England. This was every bit as bad as it sounds.

Lovely Weather

Lovely Weather

Well it was last day and just look at the weather, cloudless blue sky and 30 degrees. This is a sandbar leading out through the sea to a small island which is cut off at high tide.

BFOBEAI

BFOBEAI

Whilst Paul & Kerri were out shopping for food to cook for me for my breakfast this bird decided to have his meal on Pauls shorts, numerous flying insects were caught and dismembered on the shorts before being finally eaten.

A View From A Cabin

A View From A Cabin

This particular cabin was in Lakeside Campsite in a place which I think was called woolagoogala which I think is pronounced woolalalalalgooogala. You can see the lake, the sea and the beach which means you can pretty much see everything there is to do here, except the BBQ which is elsewhere and out of shot.

A Typical Cabin

A Typical Cabin

Our preferred accomadation were cabins like this one, they usually had large enough fridges to accomadate the beers. There was a giant spider who lived not too far from this cabin.

Nightfall

Nightfall

The rain had stopped but it was getting dark and time to return to our luxiourious hotel for the evening, we could hardly wait.

More Sisters

More Sisters

I think these rocks were called the 3 sisters, there is a massive staircase running down the back of them ( 170 steps ) which takes around 20 - 30 mins to walk down to the valley floor. We did this walk and then carried on to the funicular railway and scenic centre at the opposite side of the valley wall. This is all in Katoomba.
